As an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) I provide personalised, evidence-based nutrition support for NDIS participants in line with their goals. The support is focused on maintaining and improving functional capacity, and improve your quality of life. My approach is compassionate, flexible, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, abilities, and preferences.
Services are available for self-managed and plan-managed participants.
Our clinic is in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and home visits are available within 30 minutes drive or alternatively telehealth via video or phone.

Malnutrition refers to deficiencies, excesses, or imbalances in a person’s intake of energy and/or nutrients. It includes undernutrition, inadequate nutrient intake from a limited diet and overweight and obesity (WHO, 2025).

Nutrition care focuses on maintaining nutritional status, managing swallowing difficulties, optimising quality of life, and adapting to changing nutritional needs as the condition progresses.

Gut issues can be debilitating and impair a person’s ability to participate in daily life comfortably. They can also be red flags to more concerning conditions and may require prompt review. These may include IBS symptoms, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea and vomiting.

Support to manage PEG tube feeding may include recommending appropriate formula and delivery volumes to meet the participant’s individual calorie, macronutrient and micronutrient requirements, as well as delivery and equipment guidance. Advice may include symptom management and adjustments based on changes in lifestyle.

Adequate nutrition is vital for helping wounds heal. These include surgical wounds, trauma, pressure injuries, or ulcers from diabetes. From protein to vitamins, a dietitian can support you to ensure you consume the right nutrients to heal fast.

Support may include identifying underlying issues, review of the mealtime environment, guidance on optimising the participant’s nutrient intake within a restricted and tailored individualised support to improve nutrition and symptoms impacting functional capacity.

Every participant has unique nutrition needs, so dietitian support is tailored to your individual goals, disabilities, health conditions, and NDIS plan.
Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive nutrition assessment to determine the support that's right for you. Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on improving nutrition intake, managing medical conditions, supporting a healthy weight, preventing or treating malnutrition, tube feeding (PEG), swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), meal planning, and building practical skills to support your health, independence, and quality of life.

Yes. Home visits are available across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. Home visits can be particularly beneficial for participants with mobility challenges, complex health conditions, or those who benefit from nutrition support in their home environment.

Yes, I can provide nutrition reports, progress reports, and supporting documentation to assist with NDIS plan reviews and funding requests. Reports are tailored to your individual needs and reflect your nutrition assessment, progress, and recommendations. Reports are only ever provided when requested by the participant or support coordinator.
